Keylane’s subsidiary Actuera - supplier of the Maia® product suite for pension funds, insurance companies and third party administrators - has acquired a 100% interest in Artena, supplier of FinCircle® a standard software solution for pension communication and back office administration. This ‘Software as a Service’ solution supports the value chain of pension funds and insurers by providing communication with insured, emplyers and participants through portal technology and scenario-planning software (‘pension planners’).
Ronald Kasteel, Actuera CEO, explains: “With Artena and FinCircle® we offer the market a proven solution for client communication and back office support. Artena has acquired vast experience and a solid foothold with leading Benelux pension funds e.g. ANWB, DSM, TNO, insurers and third party administrators like Delta Lloyd, Loyalis, and Mercer."
Actuera management will lead day-to-day operations of Artena. Paul Bruggeman, Artena’s founder, has set up Cerrix to continue his work in the area of risk management software, outside Keylane.
